Below is a summary of the most important rental information. The binding wording is always stated in the rental agreement and on the Terms page.

We usually require at least two valid ID documents (e.g., an ID card/passport and a driving licence). In justified cases we may ask for additional proof of identity and eligibility.

The minimum rental period is 4 days. Rental time is charged in 24-hour blocks.

After the agreed return time, we charge a contractual surcharge of CZK 100 for each started hour of delay.

The vehicle must be returned clean and washed, in a similar condition as at pick-up. The fuel level at return must not be lower than at handover.

Trips abroad are possible only to a limited extent and always by prior agreement. The renter must arrange, at their own cost, assistance/insurance including towing back to the Czech Republic.

The deposit and the estimated rental amount are paid at pick-up. The collision deductible is typically 10%, minimum CZK 10,000 (the exact amount may differ by vehicle type).

In case of an accident or damage, stop immediately, secure the scene and call the police. Take photos, fill in the accident report and contact the rental company as soon as possible.

If the wrong fuel is filled, the entire deposit is forfeited and the renter pays all costs related to the repair and any downtime.

Smoking is strictly prohibited in our vehicles. Pets are not allowed unless explicitly agreed in advance.

All fines and penalties incurred during the rental period are paid by the renter. During the rental, the renter is considered the operator of the vehicle.

By prior agreement, the car can be returned at a different Car Rental 001 branch, possibly for an additional fee.

Practical rental info

We offer modern passenger cars, automatics, SUVs and 7–9 seat minibuses. All vehicles are serviced regularly, clean and ready to go. For most vehicles we offer unlimited mileage – details will be confirmed during booking.

Prices vary depending on the vehicle type and rental length. You can see the exact price in the price list of the specific car, or on the Price list page.

Yes, by prior agreement, pick-up or return is possible outside standard opening hours.

We typically accept cash. Depending on the situation, a bank transfer may be possible by arrangement.

For many vehicles, a Czech motorway vignette is available. We will confirm the details for the specific vehicle during booking.
